My first step...

I began Latin Motion PV, first as a Facebook page because as a lover of salsa and other Latin dances I didn't know where to go to enjoy these dances when I first arrived to Puerto Vallarta a year and a half ago. I moved here from the Bay area, California and everyone is well-connected about events and classes there.  I  La Bodeguita was an option which was conveniently close to where I live, but I didn't know where else to go and I didn't no where and if there were salsa classes anywhere. People didn't know me, I didn't know them,  so it took a little exploring, inquiring, and showing up at places on my own to feel the vibe. Sooo, I put myself in the shoes of the newcomer or visitor of Puerto Vallarta and decided to create a page for fun to help newcomers figure out where to go and so that us salseros in the community can communicate with each other about where classes, events and bands are playing. We are afterall, a small group and it's best when we don't divide ourselves so that we have enough people to dance with.
